Dr. Eric Tannenbaum is a fellowship-trained orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in the treatment of sports-related disorders as well as joint replacement and shoulder, elbow, knee, hip, ankle, and wrist care. Using the latest advances in surgical and nonsurgical treatments, Dr. Tannenbaum is dedicated to helping his patients get back to their pre-injury state and back to doing what they love.

During his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Dr. Tannenbaum was Captain of the NCAA Division 1 wrestling team, a 4-Time All-American, and national finalist. He later graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School before completing his orthopedic surgery residency training at the University of Michigan. 

After his residency, Dr. Tannenbaum received extensive specialty training in orthopedic sports medicine through a fellowship at Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. He previously served as a team physician for the University of Michigan football, wrestling, and volleyball teams. Additionally, he served as a team physician for the Los Angeles Valley College football team and has taken care of multiple professional athletes.
