Patient Reviews: Dr. Darryl Tannenbaum
“I was given good information prior to the surgery on what to expect both immediately after the surgery and following months of recovery. The provider was very thorough in visits after surgery and gave reassuring comments that I was headed on a smooth recovery. All of my questions were answered completely.”

"I am pleased with the care I have received thus far. I initially saw Dr. Chambers and later Dr. Tannenbaum. Both doctors were professional in their manner as well as compassionate for the pain I was suffering. My questions have been addressed and I feel confident to continue treatment. I am already seeing good results after my first hip replacement surgery." – Loretta B.
"Dr. Tannenbaum and his staff have been very attentive to my needs and they really made me feel like they care about my recovery." – Scott R.
"Excellent physician! A very caring man that puts the patient 1st, and wants only to get to the reason for your pain. I would recommend Dr. Tannenbaum highly for anyone living in pain." – Steve M.
"Excellent!!!! So very pleased with the professionalism yet caring demeanor. I highly recommend Dr. Tannenbaum if one is seeking an Orthopedist. I had bilateral TKR in January of this year (2016) and my life has changed dramatically (all for the better)! It was a difficult decision for me to have the bilateral because I had been told that I was not a candidate for bilateral surgery because of my weight and my age. A friend recommended seeing Dr. Tannenbaum to get another opinion. I am so happy I took my friend's advice. The issues and concerns were discussed and I felt confident with Dr. Tannenbaum's professional opinion. I had the bilateral surgery, received excellent care and went to my grandson's basketball game one week after surgery!! That was the best gift of all, although I was admittedly moving slowly, I only had to miss one basketball game and that was because I got home too late from the hospital!" – Jeannie T.
"Every time I have an appointment everyone is so kind and helpful. The doctor doesn't keep me waiting long but still takes time to find out how things are going. I also have help from office staff if I have a problem with anything. I always recommend the doctor. To anyone who needs it. Would not hesitate returning if needed" – Linda B.
"Dr. Tannenbaum treated my father years ago, and now I am seeing the doctor for a tear in my shoulder tendon. He is always willing to take time to ask about family, about the treatment, and reassures me that if I have questions just call. He was going to Africa shortly to run a marathon, but my shoulder is healing so no phone calls!" – Nancy Jo R.
"I attended one of Dr. Tannenbaum's presentations and discovered my pain was due to cartilage deterioration in my hip joint. Subsequent X-rays confirmed the problem and further consultation with Dr. Tannenbaum clarified what steps I needed to take to rectify the problem. As we were planning an overseas trip later in the year, he gave us two options to decide upon: medication (injection) which was temporary or the more permanent option of surgery. We opted for surgery in order to be in better condition for the overseas trip. I am now four weeks post-surgery, am relatively pain-free and have just graduated to using a cane as opposed to a walker. I am continuing rehab which has been of significant benefit and am hopeful to be able to walk unassisted in the very near future. I would recommend Dr. Tannenbaum's services for anyone seeking a hip replacement." – James A.
"I took physical therapy for a dislocated shoulder as recommended by Dr. Tannenbaum. I had therapy three days a week for a month. I was well pleased with the therapy I received. The two therapists that I worked with were excellent and very knowledgeable. When I finished my therapy, my shoulder and arm were almost back to normal. I would recommend Southern Indiana Orthopedics to anyone." – Marlys P.
"Some years ago Dr. Tannenbaum repaired my shoulder and it is now better than it was before I injured it. I have full range of motion which is what the surgery gave me." – Ruth J.
