Southern Indiana Orthopedics Welcomes Dr. Kalen Farr
Kalen Farr, D.P.M., fellowship-trained podiatrist, joined Southern Indiana Orthopedics on July 1. Dr. Farr specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, treating a wide range of common and complex conditions. He will be available to see patients at the practice’s Columbus, Seymour, North Vernon and Greensburg locations. With advanced training in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Farr provides comprehensive care using the latest surgical techniques and evidence-based treatments. His areas of expertise include:
- Achilles tendon and ankle ligament repair.
- Advanced ankle procedures.
- Ankle and foot fracture repair.
- Bunion and hammertoe correction.
- Foot and ankle reconstruction, including flatfoot, cavus and Charcot.

Dr. Farr earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in podiatric surgery at SSM Health DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri, where he served as chief resident. He then completed a reconstructive foot and ankle surgery fellowship with American Health Network and Indy Foot & Ankle in Carmel, Indiana.
